Mintaze Kerem Günel

She graduated from Hacettepe University School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation in 1989. In the same year, she started to work as a physiotherapist at Hacettepe University, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. In 1993, she started to work as a research assistant at Hacettepe University School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, received his specialization degree in 1994 and his doctorate degree in 1998 with his thesis titled "Investigation of the Effect of Johnstone Pressure Splints in Children with Spastic Cerebral Palsy". In 2003, she was appointed as Associate Professor and in 2009 as Professor. She completed internationally certified courses on "Bobath Neurodevelopmental Treatment Approach-NDT", "Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation-PNF" in cerebral palsy and adult hemiplegia and "Kinesiotape-Banding" in children. She is currently working as a faculty member and vice president of Hacettepe University, Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation and continues her clinical work in the cerebral palsy and neonatology unit. She is a Bobath instructor of EBTA (European Bobath Instructor Association) and the representative of EACD (European Academy of Childhood Disabilities) in Turkey. In 2022, she was appointed as the Vice President of the European Bobath Trainers Association (EBTA). Her main fields of study are; risky baby, early physiotherapy applications, cerebral palsy, congenital torticollis, congenital brachial plexus injury, developmental delay, spina bifida, physiotherapy and rehabilitation applications of childhood neurological, neurometabolic and orthopedic pediatric problems, neurodevelopmental Therapy (Bobath) applications and training, body awareness training, psychosocial rehabilitation. She is the president of the Association of Neurodevelopmental Therapy (Bobath) Therapists. She is married and mother of two children.

 

Feride BİLİR

She graduated from Hacettepe University School of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation in 1987. Between 1987-1989, she worked at Gazi University, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Between June 1989 and September 2012, she worked at Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, Institute of Child Health, Child Neurology Department Physiotherapy Unit.In 1996, she received the title of Vojta Therapist.In 1999, she became an Expert Physiotherapist by giving her master's thesis on Neurodevelopmental Treatment in Risky Newborns at IU Institute of Health Sciences. Since 2001, she started to organize the first Bobath seminars and courses held in Turkey.In 2004, she took part as a founding member in the establishment of the Association of Child Physiotherapists. In 2006, she completed the EBTA certified Bobath course and received the title of Bobath Therapist. In 2012, she became an EBTA (European Bobath Instructors Association) Bobath instructor. She gave Pediatric Rehabilitation courses at Istanbul University and Acıbadem University Physical Therapy-Rehabilitation departments. She is currently teaching Pediatric Rehabilitation course as a guest lecturer at Yeditepe University Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Physical Therapy. She is a member of the Academic Board of the Spastic Children's Foundation of Turkey. Special Expertise and Working Areas ; NDT / Bobath instructor, Vojta Therapist, Early rehabilitation applications in risky newborns and Cerebral Palsy, Early rehabilitation in congenital Brachial Plexus injuries, Pediatric Kinesiotape applications, Pediatric Thera Togs applications, Torticollis Rehabilitation and taping techniques, Orthotics in Pediatric Diseases, Down BMs evaluation, MFM evaluation in muscle diseases, Developmental screening in infants- Bayley III, GMs Prechtl Spontaneous movement analysis ... 'is. Currently, she continues her clinical studies on Early Intervention at RIBEM, Risky Infant Counseling Center and gives Bobath courses. She is married and mother of 2 children.

 

Cemil ÖZAL

He graduated from Başkent University, Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation in 2009. He received his science specialization degree in 2012 and his doctorate degree in 2018. Since 2019, he started to work as a lecturer at Hacettepe University Faculty of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation and continues his academic and clinical studies in the Cerebral Palsy and Pediatric Rehabilitation Unit. He has completed numerous certified trainings on childhood problems and assessment methods, especially Bobath/Neurodevelopmental Therapy Courses for Cerebral Palsy and similar neurodevelopmental conditions. He is a European Bobath Instructors Association - EBTA Bobath instructor and European Academy of Childhood Disability - EACD Turkey national coordinator. His main fields of study are Bobath/neurodevelopmental Therapy applications and training Cerebral palsy, neurodevelopmental problems, childhood neurological diseases physiotherapy and rehabilitation applications and Cerebral Palsy registry systems. He is a board member of Neurodevelopmental Therapy (Bobath) Therapists Association.

 

Arzu YILMAZ

Arzu Yılmaz graduated from Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation in 1992. In 2007, she completed the EBTA certified Bobath course and received the title of Bobath Therapist. In 2019, she became an EBTA (European Bobath Instructors Association) Bobath instructor. In 2011, she took part as a founding member in the establishment of the Association of Neurodevelopmental Treatment Therapists. Currently, she is still serving as a member. She has been providing physiotherapy support and family education to infants and children with special needs between the ages of 0-6 and their families for 27 years. She has completed numerous certified trainings on childhood problems and evaluation methods, except the Bobath concept for cerebral palsy and similar neurodevelopmental conditions. Since her graduation, she has worked in various centers in the field of Neurological - Orthopedic Rehabilitation and Pediatric Rehabilitation. Turkey Spastic Children's Foundation Family Counseling Center in 2019, she left the unit where she worked as the official of the Early Intervention Unit. She supports the neonatal intensive care units of various hospitals in Istanbul and works as a pediatric physiotherapist at Florance Nightingale Hospital. She teaches Pediatric Rehabilitation at Istanbul Kültür University Faculty of Health Sciences Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Department. (2019).Arzu Yılmaz is married and has two children.
