General aims of the association
For each age group, to gather directly related therapists working in the field of rehabilitation, such as physiotherapists, occupational therapists, hearing and speech therapists, pediatric neurologists, pediatric health and diseases specialists, pediatric mental health specialists, psychologists, child development and education and social workers, as well as neurology, neurosurgery and gynecology specialists, orthopedics, physical therapy and rehabilitation, ear, throat, nose and eye diseases, general practitioners and public health specialists, nurses, special education teachers as honorary members under an association.
To promote, develop and disseminate Neurodevelopmental Therapy (NDT) (Bobath) and to ensure the national and international recognition of Bobath therapists.
To establish, maintain and raise the standards of (NDT) (Bobath) therapy in cerebral palsy and similar developmental and neurological problems and to conduct scientific studies on this subject.
To work towards the recognition and understanding of the importance of target diseases in society. For this purpose, to cooperate with relevant public, private and media organizations.
To establish membership relations and cooperate with international organizations related to NDT (Bobath) (European Bobath Tutors Association-European Bobath Tutors Association-EBTA etc.) and to direct the assistance to be received in this way according to the needs.
To ensure that the subjects within its scope are promoted and analyzed throughout the country, to publish books, brochures, magazines, visual and written educational materials that will help in this regard.
To train NDT-Bobath Therapists who are effective practitioners in the treatment of cerebral palsy and related neurological problems.
To organize conferences, seminars and congresses in order to ensure that the studies on this subject do not fall behind the world standards and to ensure the exchange of information among the members of the association and the training of people related to the problems; to cooperate with relevant public and private institutions.
To organize congresses, symposiums, courses and similar meetings in order to enlighten and inform the public about childhood disabilities and rehabilitation, to promote its activities by using publications such as magazines, books, brochures as well as media and electronic media.
