Professor Dr Mintaze Kerem Günel, a member of the academic staff at the Faculty of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation at Hacettepe University, was elected President of the European Bobath Tutors Association (EBTA) for the 2026–2028 term at the EBTA General Assembly held in Portugal in September 2026.
EBTA carries out international work on the development of the Bobath concept – a child- and family-centred rehabilitation approach tailored to the needs of infants at high risk of cerebral palsy, children with cerebral palsy and those with similar neurodevelopmental conditions, as well as their families – and on the training of physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech and language therapists working in this field.
We congratulate Prof. Dr. Günel, who has been carrying out clinical, educational and scientific work in the field of paediatric physiotherapy and rehabilitation for many years, and wish her every success in her role as President of EBTA.
